About Tuning 3D
My name is Alexandr Vránek, and I’m a student at Mendel University in Brno, studying at the Faculty of Agronomy.
I got hooked on cars when I was 18, and at 20, after buying a Mazda MX-5 NB 1.8, I started designing custom parts for it – from a simple cup holder to fully functional fog intake ducts or engine intakes.
At first, I made the parts just for myself, but once I started sharing them with the community, the first interest came. And with it, the first sales. I quickly realized that not only do I enjoy it, but it could also be a meaningful path – a combination of engineering, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
Instead of fixing the rust on my Miata, I invested in my first proper printer – the Bambulab X1C with AMS – and that changed everything. The quality improved significantly, I scaled up production, and started experimenting with surface treatments like vapor smoothing to make the plastic parts look sleek and professional.
The products are constantly evolving, being tweaked and improved.
Every new idea from the community is a source of inspiration. And when it’s a good one – it becomes a new product.
