Tuning3D - Custom projects

Your idea.
A part that fits.

Custom 3D printing and CAD design, from an initial sketch to a finished part. Built on hands-on automotive experience. Open to projects beyond the garage.

Order a digital model, a printed component or the complete process. One-off parts, prototypes and small production runs.

01 / Manufacturing

Have a model?
Let's print it.

Send your design and tell us what the part needs to do. We will review the requirements and discuss material, finish and quantity before quoting.

  • Single parts and functional prototypes
  • Small-batch production
  • Material selection for the intended use
  • Finishing options discussed for each project

02 / Design

No model?
Start with an idea.

We develop CAD models from drawings, dimensioned sketches or existing parts available for measurement. From a simple bracket to a more involved mechanical assembly.

  • Custom components, covers and enclosures
  • Changes to existing designs
  • Reconstruction from physical reference parts
  • Standalone CAD delivery or design with printing

Automotive experience

Hard to find parts?
New possibilities.

Working on a classic car, a custom interior or a new component? We can assess whether a replacement or bespoke part can be designed and manufactured for your project.

Share the original part, photos and dimensions, together with its purpose and operating conditions. We will discuss the geometry, mounting points and material requirements.

From enquiry to delivery

How it works

  1. Share your project

Send your idea or files. Include dimensions, quantity, intended use and any deadline.

  2. Agree on the scope

We discuss the approach, deliverables and timing. Pricing and the billing method are agreed before work starts.

  3. Design and review

For CAD projects, we review the design at agreed stages. A printed prototype can help check fit and function.

  4. Files or finished parts

Receive your agreed digital files, printed parts or both. Delivery is arranged as part of the project.

Before you get started

Frequently asked questions

Can I get started without a 3D model?

Yes. Send a sketch, drawing, photos or a description of your idea. We may need additional dimensions or access to the original part to build an accurate model.

Can I order CAD design without printing?

Yes. Design is available as a standalone service. We agree on the scope, deliverables and required file formats before starting.

Do you only work on automotive projects?

No. Automotive parts are a particular area of experience, but we also welcome enquiries for enclosures, brackets, mechanical assemblies and other custom components.

How is the price calculated?

CAD work depends on complexity and the time required. Printing depends on geometry, material, settings and quantity. You receive a quote or an agreed estimate and billing method before work begins. Design and manufacturing costs are identified separately.

Which material should I choose?

Tell us about temperature, loads, sunlight exposure, flexibility and appearance requirements. We’ll discuss suitable material options for your application.

Can you produce just one part?

Yes. We accept enquiries for one-off parts, prototypes and small batches. For a new design, checking a prototype first can help identify changes before producing more units.

What accuracy can I expect?

Achievable accuracy depends on geometry, material and print orientation. Identify critical dimensions, mating surfaces and required fits when enquiring so we can assess them before production.

How long will the project take?

Timing depends on the design work, production requirements and current workload. We discuss the expected schedule before starting. Include any deadline in your enquiry.

What should I send with my enquiry?

Include your model or reference images, approximate dimensions, quantity and a description of the intended use. Attach available files using the contact form below, or include a download link in your message. If the project is for a vehicle, include the model and year where known.
